IP changes in London, Toronto and Los Angeles next Thursday
Peer1, our long time facility and network partner, has been acquired by Cogeco Cable for $526 million. Under the new management, certain legacy locations were upgraded and it is unfortunately not possible to retain the same IP addresses.
SBC hostnames in London, Toronto and Los Angeles will resolve to new IP addresses on April 14th. Please ensure that you firewall lists allow the IP addresses announced by email.
PEER 1 operates 16 datacenters in 14 cities in North America and Europe and 19 network points of presence (PoPs). They are a large, SSAE 16, CSAE 3416, and ISAE 3402 certified DC operator with EU and transatlantic fiber assets. While Peer1 performance was generally stable, we will be migrating service to our own floor space later this year.
