didlogic vs Telnyx
SIP TRUNKING COMPARISON

didlogic vs Telnyx for SIP trunking and voice

Compare didlogic and Telnyx on SIP routing, destination coverage, pricing, and call quality for your workload. Test didlogic on one market or route group without replacing your existing setup.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT

Match the provider to your architecture

Both providers can support SIP workloads. The right choice depends on where your call logic runs, which services you need together, and whether a separate carrier makes sense for part of your traffic.

Consider didlogic when
  • Your PBX, SBC, contact center, or AI platform already handles call logic, and you need SIP connectivity.
  • You want to evaluate a separate carrier for selected destinations, routes, or number requirements.
  • You want to compare routing, pricing, and support for a defined traffic profile.
Consider Telnyx when
  • Your application depends on Telnyx-native Voice API, TeXML, or AI capabilities.
  • You need voice, messaging, networking, or other services within one platform.
  • Keeping existing application services together simplifies your operations.
The right setup may involve one provider or both. Keep application services where they work, and evaluate carrier connectivity separately when needed.

Pricing Published destination rates; no per-trunk or per-channel fees. Published destination rates; pay-as-you-go SIP with optional inbound channel plans.
CPS & capacity CPS and concurrent channels adjusted on request. CPS thresholds and applicable pricing depend on configuration.
Support Engineering assistance with SIP configuration and routing. SIP documentation, portal tools, and technical support.
WHERE TO START

Good workloads to test first

Bursty outbound campaigns
Bursty outbound campaigns
Dialer or campaign traffic that needs more CPS than your current limit. Test one destination group with the trunk set to your real peak.
AI agents outside Telnyx

If Vapi, Retell, LiveKit, or your own stack runs the agent, point one market at a didlogic SIP trunk and compare the same calls.
A new market or number set
A new market or number set
Numbers or routes you are adding anyway. Isolate them in your PBX or SBC, and nothing else has to move.
Selected PBX destinations
Selected PBX destinations
Routes where you want to compare call completion, caller ID, and cost on the same traffic from your existing PBX.
WORKLOAD-BASED ROUTING

The choice does not have to be exclusive

Your own PBX, SBC, or platform decides which calls go where. Keep Telnyx for what it already does well and route one defined workload to didlogic.

Pattern A: separate workloads

Your business applications keep a selected existing communications or platform workload on Telnyx, while a selected SIP voice workload runs on didlogic.

Pattern B: customer-managed carrier choice

Your PBX, SBC, or voice platform sends selected traffic to didlogic and selected traffic to Telnyx, using routing rules you control.

You decide which workload goes where. Two providers do not by themselves mean separate failure domains or guaranteed redundancy; that depends on how each route is built.

COMPARE THE COST MODEL

Compare the cost of the same workload

Use the same inputs on both sides
  • Destination mix and fixed/mobile traffic where relevant.
  • Inbound and outbound minutes, plus average call duration.
  • Phone numbers and markets actually required by the workload.
  • Peak outbound CPS and concurrent calls where capacity matters.
  • Optional application, messaging, AI, recording, or networking services only when they are genuinely part of the architecture.
Cost model comparison: Telnyx bills minutes, phone numbers, and a monthly surcharge for CPS above 5; didlogic bills minutes per route and country, number rental by country, and raises CPS on request.
CALLS PER SECOND

Compare CPS limits and costs before routing traffic

On didlogic

CPS and concurrent channels are raised on request, usually the same day, for the trunk that carries your test.

On Telnyx

Outbound SIP trunking is limited to 20 CPS per source IP by default, with higher limits reviewed on request. A monthly surcharge applies above 5 CPS, based on the 95th percentile of hourly peaks.

Send us your peak CPS and destinations; we set the test trunk to match before the first call.
EVALUATE WITHOUT REPLACING THE STACK

Give didlogic one workload to earn a larger role

Keep everything outside the evaluation scope unchanged. The goal is to learn whether didlogic fits a defined voice job before making any wider routing, number, or platform decision.
  1. Step 1

    Define one scope

Choose one market, route group, number set, customer workload, or outbound destination mix.

  2. Step 2

    Check coverage and requirements

Confirm target destinations, caller ID requirements, SIP settings, and expected peak CPS before configuring the test trunk.

  3. Step 3

    Add a separate didlogic connection

Use a customer-controlled PBX, SBC, or voice platform that supports the required routing.

  4. Step 4

Measure both on the same calls

Measure call completion, post-dial delay, caller-ID presentation, audio, DTMF or transfer behaviour, billing, unit cost, and support handling on comparable traffic.

  5. Step 5

Expand only if the result justifies it

Additional markets, traffic, or number moves remain optional later decisions.

CUSTOMER STORY

Local numbers for every patient market.

Family Dental Care needed a more familiar way to reach patients in Italy, Germany, and France. didlogic provided local phone numbers for all three markets, giving prospective patients a domestic number to recognize and call back.

didlogic vs Telnyx FAQ

Are didlogic and Telnyx direct alternatives for SIP trunking?

For a defined SIP/PSTN workload, they can be compared directly on the exact markets, routing requirements, capacity, operations, and economics. Telnyx also provides a much broader set of communications, AI, identity, networking, and compute products, so those requirements should stay separate from a SIP-only decision.

When does didlogic make more sense?

didlogic is worth evaluating when the application layer already exists and the decision is mainly about a defined telephony workload: SIP connectivity, numbers, routes, caller ID, or selected markets.

When does Telnyx make more sense?

Telnyx may be the more natural fit when the wider Telnyx platform, for example programmable voice, messaging, AI, networking, or other native capabilities, is intentionally part of the architecture and consolidating those responsibilities is useful.

Can I use didlogic and Telnyx at the same time?

Yes, where the customer-controlled architecture supports separate workloads, route groups, markets, or multiple SIP connections. Keep ownership, routing, monitoring, and support boundaries explicit.

Does using two providers automatically improve redundancy?

No. Two vendor names do not prove separate underlying carriers, routes, infrastructure, or failure domains. Redundancy claims should be based on the actual routing and architecture.

How should I compare didlogic and Telnyx pricing?

Use the same markets, call direction, minutes, average duration, number inventory, CPS, concurrency, and optional services actually used. For bursty outbound SIP workloads, include the applicable CPS model instead of comparing minute rates alone.

Can I test didlogic without porting existing numbers?

Usually, yes. Start with a separate outbound route group, a new number where appropriate, or another isolated SIP workload. Validate call behaviour, billing, operations, and support before making any production number move.

Does Telnyx also provide AI and programmable voice?

Yes. Telnyx offers programmable Voice API products and a broader portfolio that includes Voice AI, speech products, messaging, networking, and other primitives. If those products are central to the application, include them in the architecture decision rather than treating the project as SIP only.
